I got my copy of Faithless' new album this morning. It's very listenable, however it's definately in the "chilled" category. There are certainly no "Insomnia"'s or "We Come One"'s on it, however I can understand why. Faithless have done that and are famous. Now they are trying to use their music to make a point and they've made a whole album in the "Mass Destruction" vein. Many of the tracks are quite political - you might have heard bombs already, but other tracks such as "To All New Arrivals" have a recording of someone reading facts about poverty in the world.

Also I feel slightly sorry for Sister Bliss' new son. There are photos of him all over the album art, and his babblings feature on the album a few times! Just think 15 years time....

Meanwhile I'm looking forward to recieving both Hybrid and BT's new albums which I ordered yesterday :-) Both of them sneaked new albums out without telling me. How rude!

Basement Jaxx at Wembley arena tomorrow night... :-D

BT's This Binary Universe (which I'm guessing is still his "new" album) is very different from his earlier stuff. Kindof like Faithless, he's done his Flaming June and TBU is fairly minimalist electronica. I do quite like it, but it won't be playing in any clubs...

I can't help it Mr BT doesn't have a mailing list! How was I supposed to know he'd released a new album ;-)
