Last saturday night was the annual Dusk Till Dawn mountain bike race in Thetford. After 4 weeks of regular night rides our 2 teams (A team - Andy A, Grimey, Workmate's housemate and me, B team - 4 people from work) were prepared and ready. We got a generator and built ourself a little marquee using 4 Tesco Value Gazebos and a roll or transparent blue pallet wrap so that we would have somewhere comfortable to spend the night.

Our first lap went a bit wrong when Grimey came running back with his bike on his shoulder (puncture on tubeless tires!), so Andy then went out 30 minutes behind the rest of the field. A few hours later we overtook the B team and then about 6am we lapped them :)

In the end we came 32nd and the B team came 46th (Look for Bowl of Petunias and Cambridge Consultants here). Not too bad considering our slow start!

In music news: Kula Shaker rock! Went to see them in Cambridge on Tuesday and they were really good - I'd forgot how many class tunes they did! They've not been around since 2000, however now they have reformed, released a new album and are on tour.
