Tour Du Mont Blanc 2008

A 100 mile walk taking 11 days... That might not sound much, but there's lots of up and down!

The start... in the rain Rest time. The start of day 2. A rather picturesque valley we were walking up We made it to the top (the top being the col, rather than the top of a mountain!) Going down The 4th member of the team Leaving Chapieux on the morning of day 3 Camping beneath a glacier at Refugio Elizabetta Waiting for dinner to cook A good view, but it was quite cold! Sarah guarding her cards carefully It was a bit misty and wet that day Finally arrived in La Fouly Sarah's feet Arriving in Champex The chalet we stayed in - it was a piece of history in itself and was located in the village's Alpine Garden Bye bye Champex Moo! They were quite noisy! Dinner :-) That's what you call a mountain goat! Some ladders - quite hard work with 15kg on you back! The beginning of the final day - only 1500m of decent to the end :( The end!
